Drone photo shows extensive damage to Fukushima Unit 1

April 10: Image taken by T-Hawk drone aircraft and released by Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) shows the damaged reactor building of Unit 1 of the tsunami-crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant in Okuma, Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan.A U.S. supplied T-Hawk drone has been doing aerial surveillance of the crippled reactors at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) recently release this still of the Unit 1 reactor, which TEPCO said today may have a hole in the reactor containment vessel caused by melting fuel.
