MA reactor scrams during start-up

Yesterday afternoon, operators were attempting to restart the Unit 1 reactor at the Pilgrim nuclear plant after a refueling outage. With the reactor at 4%, operators received a trip signal from the Neutron Monitoring System, and the reactor shut down. Cause of the malfunction is being investigated.
