Yesterday, a non-licensed employee supervisor at a construction site at the Vogtle nuclear plant in Georgia tested positive for alcohol in a Fitness for Duty test. This was a follow up test for an individual who had previously tested positive. The supervisor’s unescorted access to the plant has been terminated. Workers are the site are doing preliminary site preparation work for two new reactors recently approved by the NRC.
